Daw Win Lei Phyu, Consul General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Los Angeles, attended the California Business Outlook conference held on 10 June 2026 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California, at the invitation of the California Chamber of Commerce.
The conference was attended by more than 200 distinguished participants, including Consuls General based in San Francisco and Los Angeles, members of the California State Legislature, representatives of the California Chamber of Commerce, and business leaders from across California.
Ms. Jennifer Barrera, President and Chief Executive Officer of the California Chamber of Commerce, delivered the opening remarks. This was followed by panel discussions featuring State Senators, Assembly Members, and representatives from public affairs organizations and businesses. Discussions focused on key issues, including ballot measures for the November midterm elections, the June primary elections, international economics, the growing role of artificial intelligence, and California’s state budget outlook.
In the evening, the Consul General also attended a reception hosted by California Governor Gavin Newsom at the Governor’s Mansion, as well as a dinner held at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center.
